Actually, moose was more ambling than running. This and another, more junior moose, spent the rest of the day nibbling and napping between my house and a neighbor's. I've noticed Dog of the North is very aggressive toward moose, barking loudly and straining toward the largest of beasts -- provided, of course, that there is at least a window, door, or wall between her and beast. If outside, she substitutes me for wall and is a good bit quieter.
